We always say it's the little things that count! We endeavour to use only recycled paper and biodegradable plastic products wherever possible.
Our staff each have their own individual KeepCup for their daily coffee- a sustainable, reusable coffee cup as an alternative to disposable (and non-recyclable) coffee cups.
We support Lions' Recycle for Sight Program, and encourage our patients to donate their old spectacles for distribution to developing countries, where many have no access to or cannot afford eye healthcare or glasses.
Nick and Gloria, the practice owners, have volunteered overseas in Tanzania and the Pacific Islands.
We sponsor the A21 organisation- a non-profit organization fighting to end human trafficking globally. An estimated 27 million people worldwide are currently exploited against their will for manual and sexual labour, with the average age of a trafficking victim just 12 years old.
and love that you do too!
We are a part of Vision Australia, which helps disadvantaged Australians such as Pensioners and Centrelink customers by providing free spectacles and eye care. We also work with a number of refugee organisations in Sydney in a similar capacity.
